16th April 2014

MEDIA RELEASE – ISITE MEDIA

AUT ADVERTISING CREATIVITY STUDENTS LAUNCH YOUTHLINE BUS CAMPAIGN

AUT students Sarah Mee and Ashton Young braved horizontal rain in Wellington to pose with one of the bus backs they designed for Youthline. The campaign features four designs over 15 bus backs in Wellington promoting Youthline – a charity that offers a helpline, counselling, support and development services for the youth of New Zealand.

The campaign was created in response to a brief given to students at AUT adschool by Youthline and was executed in conjunction with iSite Media.

Rupert Fenton, Head of Freshness for iSite Media who donated the buses said, “Youthline had a great selection of campaigns to choose between. It was a tough choice as all of the responses were of a high professional standard.”

Tim Antric, Chairperson for Youthline said, “Positive feedback has flooded in since the launch of this campaign and we are using campaign elements as part of the street appeal activity.”

Paul White, Programme Leader and Creative Director of AUT Advertising Creativity said, “We do our best to make the course as ‘real world’ as we can. Getting the Youthline campaign out on the streets with iSite is a great example of what we’re all about.”
