APN Outdoor launches new Campaign Planning Tools

SYDNEY: Following several months of research, surveying and planning, leading Outdoor company, APN Outdoor, have launched their online Campaign Planning Tools. The Tools have launched in both Australia and New Zealand, each with their own customised features in the Mapping Tool and the Creative Test Tool.

APN Outdoor began scoping for the Campaign Planning Tools with rounds of qualitative and quantitative research with Australia and New Zealand’s leading media agencies.

Keeping the clients’ Outdoor planning needs front of mind, APN Outdoor has created the largest, most comprehensive, free-access Outdoor Campaign Planning Tools in Australia. Every one of APN Outdoor’s Digital Billboards, Billboards, Rail and Airport sites are listed, layered with Australia Bureau of Statics data and are GPS located on Google Maps with the Mapping Tool.

APN Outdoor’s extensive Transit portfolio, which covers 95% of Transit media available in Australia, is covered route by route in the Mapping Tool. Heat maps have then been overlaid to show the high impact capability the audience swell around each route delivers.

Along with the Mapping Tool component, the Creative Test Tool gives agencies the opportunity to test campaign artwork on the multiple products and formats APN Outdoor offers. This gives agencies far greater flexibility for campaign visualisation.

Janine Wood, APN Outdoor General Manager – Marketing, explains the multiple benefits the Campaign Planning Tools delivers; “Our Campaign Planning Tools have been designed with the end user in mind, our clients – agency and direct alike. We want to lead the industry in giving our clients a world-class experience when planning Outdoor. The Campaign Planning Tools are an innovation in planning Outdoor online.”

To celebrate the Australian launch of the Campaign Planning Tools, APN Outdoor is hosting a Designer Sunglasses competition this week, giving away 50 pairs a day to keep clients looking cool while they campaign this summer, more details available on Twitter. <END>
